Baymount Outdoor Adventures Inc. is a Canadian owned adventure tour company, owned by Kathy and Richard Faulkner. Baymount’s goal is to provide you with the highest quality vacation experience whether in Canada or Latin America, while our Mission is to “Make A Greater Difference in The World” – “One Child, One Family, One Community, One Tour at a time”

Our professional skills as a nurse and teacher, combined with a deep desire to share our outdoor knowledge and love of the Upper Bay of Fundy, led us to form Baymount Outdoor Adventures.  From the beginning in 1991, we have been committed to providing high quality tours, instructional programs and custom events related to hiking, canoeing/kayaking, caving and mountain biking.  In 1996, Baymount introduced the “White Caves Adventure” and the “Kayak The Rocks” Adventure as part of the New Brunswick Day Adventure Program.  Since then these adventures have been recognized for outstanding quality; recipients of the “Savvy Traveller” and “The Bay of Fundy Recommended Experience” Awards.

 Latin American Business

The seeds for a Latin American expansion began in 1998 during a short term mission trip to Guatemala.  Working with Canadian and Guatemalan friends at the rain soaked, muddy construction site during Hurricane Mitch, it became obvious that our efforts were appreciated and had the potential to “transform” the lives of people in an entire Village. This increased understanding of the uniqueness and beauty of the people and country of Guatemala, sparked the vision of a “winter” tourism business in Central America.  After extensive product development work, several small group adventure, cultural and natural history tour packages are available in Guatemala, Belize, Mexico, Costa Rica and Peru.  Research and development for other destination packages is ongoing.

We are grateful for the success that our business has enjoyed over the years and now as we move forward our vision is to “Make A Greater Difference in The World”.  Participating in any of our Latin American tours will help change lives “One child, one family, one community, one tour” at a time”   Baymount will be donating 50% of the profits from each Latin American tour to support selected humanitarian and conservation projects.  Here in Canada, we will be assisting local charities by providing them with the opportunity to utilize our programs to raise funds that will in turn be used to help support their community work.  Baymount  staff are also committed to “Making a Difference” as they are donating 50% of all gratuities to sponsor two children from the highlands of Guatemala!
