Don't miss the remote and scenic mountains of lower Baja California known as the Sierra de la Laguna depicted by deep boulder-filled canyons dotted with palms, hot springs and cool mountain streams. These dramatic canyons create the perfect setting for hiking and mountain biking. Your camping accommodation is set under the shade of large mango and avocado trees in the small orchard of Huerta los Mangos. The other part of your trip is spent kayaking and camping on Espiritu Santo Island where you can explore beautiful white sand beaches, canyons adorned with hanging fig trees, boulder up arroyos, and snorkel with friendly sea lions and tropical fish. Our flexible itinerary facilitates a variety of activities for a variety of interests from hiking to paddling to snorkeling and fishing. Motorized support skiffs provide a safe and luxurious sea kayaking excursion. Besides exploring the many hidden coves by kayak, other guided activities from our base camp include skiff excursions to nearby snorkeling "hot spots" including a sea lion rookery where we join these graceful creatures, swimming alongside them while enjoying their playful and curious nature first hand.

Brief Itinerary ( Sierra Tour Before Kayaking)

Day 1 Arrive in Pa Paz or Cabo and overnight.

Day 2 Transfer to Huerta los Mangos in the foothills of the Sierra de la Laguna mountains.

Day 3 Hiking and biking in the canyons of the Sierra de la Laguna. Visit hot springs and refreshing pools; visit local ranch and make tortillas

Day 4 Transfer to La Paz and then a boat transfer to base camp on Espiritu Santo Island.

Days 5&6 Sea kayaking, snorkeling, fishing and hiking on Espiritu Santo Island

Days 7&8 Return to La Paz or Cabo, overnight and depart on day 8

Brief Itinerary ( Sierra Tour After Kayaking)

Day 1 Arrive in Pa Paz or Cabo and overnight.at Posada Luna Sol in La Paz

Day 2 Transfer by boat to base camp on Espiritu Santo Island.

Days 3&4 Sea kayaking, snorkeling, fishing and hiking on Espiritu Santo Island

Day 5 Return to La Paz and transfer Transfer to Huerta los Mangos in the foothills of the Sierra de la Laguna mountains.

Day 6 Hiking and biking in the canyons of the Sierra de la Laguna. Visit hot springs and refreshing pools; visit local ranch and make tortillas

Days 7&8 Morning hiking and biking in the Sierra then be transferred to La Paz or Cabo for overnight. Depart La Paz or Cabo on day 8.

	Professional English and Spanish speaking sea kayaking guide, trained with ACA certification, Wilderness First Responder and CPR.
	Base camp and cook staff. Skiff boat operator.
	All transfers between hotels and camps.
	Trip equipment, including all sea kayaking & cycling gear and tents. Fishing rod and reel ( must bring own lures )
	Extensive first aid kit.
	All meals and beverages (including fruit juices, soda, beer and “happy hour” drinks while at camp and farewell dinner. Other meals as indicated in the itinerary (B = Breakfast, L = Lunch, D = Dinner).
	Guided hiking, cycling, snorkeling, fishing and sea kayaking tours..
	Hotel accommodations in La Paz, based upon double occupancy.
