The “White Caves Adventure” is a 3 hour guided tour of an undeveloped and “wild” gypsum cave system in Hillsborough, a short 10 minute drive from Hopewell Rocks. This adventure is ideally suited for beginning individuals, couples and families and strikes a balance between personal growth, education, safe caving practices and fun. The interpretative message regarding cave formations, safety practices, and the need to be respectful of these fragile ecosystems is consumer friendly and neatly integrated with the bat story, legends of the “Gypsum Bears.” This tour will also provide guests with the opportunity to challenge oneself in ways you have never imagined. The White Caves Adventure is a lifelong memory. Our guests remember their adventure in a very personal way; for some it may represent a time of overcoming their fears, for others it is the thrill of going underground for the first time while some savor the memory of doing something so new and original.
