The North White Cave
The North White Cave is the longer and more complicated portion of the White Caves. Only the entrance area of this cave is used in our White Caves Adventure Tour, as most of this cave can only be explored after a 10 meter crawl through a narrow water filled “sump”. Following this chilly introduction, another 1½ to 2 hours is required to fully explore the various passageways that terminate very close to the entrance to the South White Cave. The South White Cave is included as a warm up for the North Cave. Call for information

The Underground Lake & Lost Brook Cave
This unique adventure features a gypsum and a limestone cave, in nearby Albert Mines. The Underground Lake is a 140 meter long gypsum cave that has a very cold lake on the western half of this underground cavern. Of special interest is the karst topography and huge sinkholes that surround the area and the rare alpine plants found along the Wilson Brook Conservation Area. The Lost Brook Cave is a 79 meter long limestone cave that is entered by walking up a brook. The glistening silver walls, skylights in the roof and a tiny waterfall make this cave special. A lime kiln, used by early settlers for the acquisition of calcium makes for an interesting side trip. Call for information

The Berryton Cave
The Berryton Cave is a limestone cave located in nearby Turtle Creek. This is the technically most challenging of the caves in the area. The 3 hour underground excursion, features intricate fissures, passages a varying size, as well as, a hidden entrance to a large overhead “bat room”. Because of the small cave entrance and other passages, big people need not apply. Call for information

| NOTE: Because of recent vandalism and general lack of respect for private property, the landowner has now closed this cave to the public. This unfortunate situation clearly illustrates the importance that all outdoor users have for responsible stewardship of our outdoor resources. | |
